The story of RenovaVida was born from a clear vision: to transform the lives of thousands of families and communities still living without access to electricity.
Lighting Lives, Iluminating Territories
Convinced that development should be a right, not a privilege, we set out to create a social-impact business model focused on closing infrastructure gaps in Peru, starting with the essentials: energy. This model redefines how value is generated in the country: it seeks not only economic sustainability but also social and environmental impact, ensuring that every investment contributes directly to the well-being of people and the protection of the environment.
With this purpose in mind, a team of partners and professionals united around a common goal: bringing light where there was once only darkness. This marked the beginning of a sustainable rural electrification initiative, designed not just to install solar panels, but to create opportunities, hope, and lasting progress in Peru’s most remote regions.
During its initial phase, the team researched, planned, and evaluated various technological alternatives, ultimately choosing high-performance standalone photovoltaic systems capable of operating in hard-to-reach areas. The real turning point came with the integration of cutting-edge technology and geospatial analysis, tools that allowed precise identification of households and communities in need, ensuring each installation addressed a real and prioritized requirement. RenovaVida was born not merely as a technical project, but as an initiative with a human and inclusive vision, aimed at connecting energy with development, technology with territory, and progress with dignity.
Today, every family that lights a bulb for the first time, every child who can study at night, and every woman who launches a new enterprise reminds us of our purpose: to illuminate paths, inspire change, and transform the lives of communities across Peru.
